VINEYARD | BASEMENT, CELLAR
“The sweetest grapes hang the most,” is what we think of the winemaker's striving for the unattainable. Making wine is a job that requires a lot of passion, the highest level of professionalism and discipline. The work is long and hard and demands precision in every phase. You cannot command nature, you have to feel it. We know that no two years are the same. Working with and responding to nature is required.
Every year we face the great challenge of bringing our knowledge and experience into harmony with the realities of nature. That is the art. In this way, the wines themselves are typical of the region and impress both our hearts and our palates.
The same patience that you have with nature in the vineyard is also required in the cellar. It is fascinating to watch the wine as it is made, from fermentation to storage, each wine needs its own individual amount of time. We accompany and create the best conditions, be it in a steel tank for a fresh, fruity Grüner Veltliner, in a small wooden barrel for an expressive Zweigelt or in a granite stone barrel for a very special Veltliner.
Tastings are very welcome from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by appointment.
Wines can be picked up in our pick-up zone on Sundays and public holidays.
In September and October, tasting is only possible to a limited extent due to the harvest.
